Luisa Bustamante - Architecture & Construction Project Manager

Your perfect balance of Architecture, Development, and Construction.

UBA

Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Designer.

The new building for the Faculty of Natural Sciences at the University of Buenos Aires is conceptually a separate building which provides maximum flexibility for current and future uses, respecting the environment, linking and prioritizing the existing building.
This simple volume solely includes two floors with two open  courtyards, allowing a connection to the outside. The main entrance, located on the ground floor, links pedestrians to the university’s adjacent buildings. This access generates a strongly delineated pedestrian link between the public, semi public, private, covered, semi-covered and uncovered areas.
The new facility of Exact and Natural Sciences, for the University of Argentina creates a harmony within its environment by welcoming students and linking the design to its surroundings.

Project by Rafael Viñoly Architects.

Luisa Bustamante - Architecture & Construction Project Manager

I have 8 years of very unique experience and my excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with my project management experience and extensive knowledge of the design and construction process, make me a well rounded creative.

In my career thus far I have purposely sought out challenges that continue to shape me into the architect and person I aspire to be. Working overseas taught me to be subjective and receptive in both life and the workplace. Working at a design/build has given me an appreciation for the construction process and a respect for all trades involved. Working for Rafael Viñoly has taught me patience and a better understanding of handling high profile clients and projects. And finally, my most recent position as Project Manager at S9 Architecture has furthered my construction administration knowledge and provided great opportunity to further develop client relation skills.
