Interiors Project Manager.
Responsible for leading the interiors documentation of this 57 story luxury high-rise. Hired as architects of record, the goal was to success-fully execute the clients requests while continu-ing to follow the designer’s intent.
This project was unique to manage for a variety of reasons; the shape of the building added a complexity of design for individual units, and the number of project participants required very clear communication.
Responsibilities:
+ Interiors point of contact for Ian Schrager and the design architect Herzog & de Meuron.
+ Weekly drawing updates to client.
+ Delegating tasks internally for interiors side.
Project by Ian Schrager + Herzog & de Meuron.
I have 8 years of very unique experience and my excellent interpersonal skills, coupled with my project management experience and extensive knowledge of the design and construction process, make me a well rounded creative.
In my career thus far I have purposely sought out challenges that continue to shape me into the architect and person I aspire to be. Working overseas taught me to be subjective and receptive in both life and the workplace. Working at a design/build has given me an appreciation for the construction process and a respect for all trades involved. Working for Rafael Viñoly has taught me patience and a better understanding of handling high profile clients and projects. And finally, my most recent position as Project Manager at S9 Architecture has furthered my construction administration knowledge and provided great opportunity to further develop client relation skills.
